Am I cooked?
Hi I am panicking because I am moved to foundation German from my year 10 mocks because I flopped my writing, is there a chance I can move back to higher next week in my yr. 11 mock, because I am really worried it would affect my aps as so far I am on 9888887 but if I do foundation I will be capped at a 5, affecting my aps and chances of going to my dream sixth form lae stratford

There may be a chance if you ask your German teacher, but obviously you need to reflect on why you didn't do particularly well on your writing. If your mocks are next week, it will be less likely because there is such little notice for your teachers.

The thing is we did a practise on a week before and I did pretty well on higher but she still put me foundation despite my improvement

LAE only cares about your best 8 subjects when calculating your APS (including Maths and English Language). If you do poorly in a language but do well in your other GCSEs they really won't care. I personally got a 6 in my French GCSE and it didn't affect my application or enrolment at all, so you shouldn't worry too much about this.
