Access To HE Work Experience?
Hi!!! I've started an Access to HE Health Science Professions course via ELearning, and wanting to go into Midwifery later on.
When I did a BTEC in Health and Social Care in 2022-2023, work experience was required which I did do in a baby scan environment for a couple of months, but it isn't very clear on here whether I need work experience in this course also.
Am I able to use my past work experience towards my Uni application, or will I typically have to find another place to do more experience? Thanks

you don’t typically need work experience for your HE diploma, however i am doing mine atm in order to do midwifery at uni, i am working full time as a care assistant, it could be something to look into, even if you only to 10 hours a week. its great clinical experience , and there is a massive demand for care workers too!
