Is dating your cousin wrong

So me and this guy started talking and hanging out and then I find out we are fourth cousins. Deep down I really don’t care but I don’t wanna upset my family. But I never felt this way about anyone before, he makes me so happy. He plan dates, he is kind, patient. Literally everything I ever wanted. And we already been being intimate with eachother, this was before finding out we are somewhat related. If you were me. What would u do.

This probably shouldn’t be discussed on tsr maybe go on a different website to discuss this because after all this is a student room.

It’s a distant relative, but dating within the family has the potential for more complexity. Looks like you’ve made the decision and you’re able to do what you think fit

I’m going to keep it short and simple in my opinion yeah it’s wrong.

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip: 3rd cousins & 2nd cousins once removed (2 different routes on the family tree)
Queen Victoria and Prince Albert: 1st cousins
King George IV and Caroline of Brunswick: 1st cousins
King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra: 3rd cousins
King George V and Queen Mary: 2nd cousins

It seems that in Royal circles, traditionally, it was more of an issue NOT to be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd cousin. 💞 😄
Is there anything wrong in following the examples set by various Supreme Governors of the Church of England? 😁

Good point. Although I’m not sure they’re role models
