Bath vs Bristol for Supply Chain Management – Which Should I Choose?
I’ve been accepted into the Supply Chain Management programs at both the University of Bath and the University of Bristol, and I’m hoping to get some advice on which school might be the better choice.
I initially applied to Bath because the program seemed to offer an internship opportunity, but after doing some research, I found out that it’s not guaranteed.
On the other hand, Bristol seems to have more convenient living conditions and a higher QS ranking.
I’m really torn because I hope to stay in Europe for work after graduation.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!🙏

Congrats on your offers! Both are strong choices. Bath has a great reputation for employability and often highlights internships, but as you’ve found out, they aren’t guaranteed. Bristol has a slightly higher ranking and city life might be more convenient, which could make day-to-day life easier.
Since you’re hoping to work in Europe after graduation, it’s worth checking which university has stronger links with European companies and alumni networks in supply chain. Also consider location, cost of living, and the kind of support each school offers for placements or careers.
Overall, think about what matters more to you: the potential for an internship and employability focus (Bath) or city life and rankings (Bristol). Both will give you a solid foundation for Europe-based work.
