Edexel A Level History 😔

So I loveeeeed history at GCSE but was sort of mediocre at it (got a 6) and now I’m taking it for a level and the struggles I had at GCSE with putting the “story” of sorts together in my mind, structuring essays with enough depth, etc. is really wearing down my confidence. Anyone else in a similar place/feels the same? I feel kind of alone in my class on these things.

You’re definitely not alone! A-level history is a big step up from GCSE it’s all about structuring essays and linking points, not just what you know. Planning essays and practising regularly really helps. A 6 at GCSE doesn’t limit your A-level potential, so keep going and your confidence will grow.
