Greatest academic comeback ever 💥

I’m in yr 13 and my first set of mocks start tomorrow. I have not done ANY revision bc I procrastinate so so much. Which I rlly need to change. I’m expecting a D in chemistry , E in maths , and a D/C in biology. My ucas grades are A*A*A bc in my yr 12 mocks I achieved AAB, but I truly believe my ucas grades are heavily over predicted, bc I got Cs in multiple chem exams ( ucas grade A), I got Ds and Es in maths ( UCAS grade A*), the only grade which is accurate is bio as I got As and only one B in yr 12 ( UCAS grade A*) I somehow just managed to do well in yr 12 mocks by luck . I have alr applied to medicine but my ucat is rlly low & I don’t actually want to do medicine. I want to do dentistry, so I’m resitting my ucat next year. I’ve alr started prepping a tiny bit for it. The grades I am aiming for in my a levels are A*A*A* which Ik seems REALLY ambitious for a D/C/B student - but Ik I can do it if I rlly try. So I’m making this post to remind me to study and revise as I’m gonna post my results to this thread on a level results day and if I don’t get atleast A* A* A that would be rlly embarrassing 🥀
Also I will post my mock results when I get them 😭

My predicted grades are A* A* A bc I got AAB in my year 12 mocks, predicteds were decided in year 12 for me as my ucas deadline for medicine was October.

Not saying these are decent grades by any means, but considering the whole "I have not done ANY revision bc I procrastinate so so much. Which I rlly need to change", you can probably get them up to at least Bs or As by following your own advice. Ik it sucks doing A-Levels for a course (med) you don't care about but you js have to lock in so you can reapply next year; you know what to do.

The predicted grade inflation is crazy though how does your school get away with it 😭

my school only gave us a predicted grade that is higher than what we got in our end of year 12 mocks if we were within 5% or less from the grade boundary
