Am i eligible for contextual offer from kings if i have FSM at an independent school?

Generally, contextual offers at King’s are aimed at students who’ve faced educational or social disadvantage, like attending a state school with lower-than-average progression or being on free school meals. If you’re on FSM at an independent school, it’s less clear King’s usually flags FSM in state schools more than in independent schools.
It’s worth contacting King’s admissions directly to check, because they can give a definitive answer based on your situation.

I had alr called them up, they said as the website ONLY states FSM at school and doesnt state it being private or public it should be accepted but i am unsure still. I just wanted to double check if anyone was in the same situation.
There's info about this here (it is linked from the KCL contextual page):

https://www.ucas.com/applying/applying-to-university/filling-in-your-application/students-eligible-for-free-school-meals-fsm

"Students applying from the independent school sector can indicate their financial circumstances would have made them eligible for UK government funded free school meals in the past six years. This can be verified by teachers/advisers using confirmation through your previous school or college, a letter of confirmation from the local authority, or using the Bursary Assessment Associates contextualised data service."
