Hi! You can technically use the same personal statement for both courses, but it’s not ideal. Admissions tutors like to see that your statement is tailored to the specific course, showing you understand what that course involves and why you’re interested.
If the courses are very similar (e.g., PPE and Philosophy/Economics), you could reuse most of it but tweak the parts about the specific subjects, career goals, or modules. That usually works better than submitting the exact same statement.

I can see a way you could conceivably write a PS relevant to both but for the PPE side it might seem a bit economics heavy (granted I think that's common anyway). You'd probably need to write principally on elements of political philosophy/political theory for the philosophy parts, to keep some reference to the politics side for PPE.

I think it may also depend on the uni you're applying to. If applying to PPE at LSE for example, you really would want to deal with all three areas and their various intersections thoroughly since a) LSE is very PS focused and routinely reject applicants for insufficiently motivated/relevant PSes for the specific course at LSE and b) PPE at LSE is always "tripartite" through the whole course (whereas it's not uncommon for other PPE courses to let you focus on just 2/3 areas after the first year or so as I understand, dependent on your interests).

I applied to Bristol for philosophy and econ with the same ps as I did for ppe everywhere else I wouldn’t worry- also you can’t acc do an extra personal statement anyway so they do understand that- what I did was just had my ppe ps lean slightly more towards political philosophy and econ.
