Gap year diaries- new friends?

So, I’m currently in my gap year before I study my degree at the uni of Birmingham, I opted to take the gap here as my secondary school was super intense and I’m really liking having this time, got a job at a local nursery and got in touch with old friends in the year above me, and keeping in touch as much as I can with my friends at uni, but I’m really hoping that this year I might be able to make some new friends, no one at my job is really around my age so I decided to come on here and post, in case there’s anyone who is also wanna gap here that wants to be friends? I know it’s a weird ask but thought I’d try, I live in the south east so if there’s anyone from the South east that would be even better but if not, I’d love to have an online friend or something as it would be nice to be in contact with someone who is having a similar experience/gap year/working out what they want to do? Anyway, if you’d like to make a new friend (I promise I’m relatively cool lol) I’m here!
