Music Venues in Norwich! 🎵
Hiya! I'm Charlotte, a third year Graphics student and today I'd love to introduce you to my top two music venues in Norwich.
Firstly, the UEA LCR is one of my faves - with a capacity of 1550 and so so many amazing artists lined up each year, it's a great venue if you want to see some big names if you book ahead or even want to see people lesser known as a bit of a spontaneous trip. This year they've had Tom Grennan, CMAT, Wet Leg, Tom Walker and many many more. With buses to and from the city centre to the venue, it's super easy to get to. I've seen Anne-Marie and Scouting for Girls there previously, and have got 2 more gigs booked there for 2026 which I'm super excited for.
Secondly, and I've only been there once but with the intention to return again super soon, there is The Waterfront. I saw Sam Ryder here as part of his 'intimate gig series' in 2022 when his first album launched. This venue has a floor with a capacity of 700 and one with 200. It was such a lovely venue and it was super easy to wait around after the gig to meet Sam and get some photos! This year has seen artists such as Remember Monday along with a host of tribute acts which sound like great fun to go and see.
I can't wait to spend my final year of university making the most of Norwich's music scene, and hopefully discovering some more venues to share with you all!
