Fashion/costume design with best student life?

I'm aiming for ABB at A level and want to study fashion or costume design. Student life and nightlife are super important to me! Which unis or courses would you recommend for a great social vibe? 😊

If you want fashion or costume design plus a good social scene, some options are:

Manchester Metropolitan strong fashion course, great nightlife

Brighton creative city, big student community

London College of Fashion top course, endless social opportunities

Kingston good course, near London

Nottingham Trent fashion course, lively student city

Aim for a mix of big-city unis for social life and smaller arts-focused ones for training.

Hi @Dizzyknomes

Kingston has a great Fashion Design course!
I don't personally study fashion design but I do study fashion comms so am happy to answer questions and provide insight.

One of the other reps ( @Kingston Zhi En ) does in fact though study fashion design. I will link some posts they have done here where you can also ask them any question about the course
A Week in the Life of Kingston Fashion Student - The Student Room
Life as a Student in Kingston University’s BA Fashion Course - The Student Room

In terms of student life here are a few posts I have done that should give you an overview
Student Organised Events Happening at Kingston University - The Student Room
Days and Nights Out as a Kingston Student - The Student Room
Social Life and Night Life at Kingston - The Student Room

Also you would be based at An Overview of Knights Park Campus - The Student Room

I would also recommend attending an open day. It is a great chance to get a feel for the university as to what it might be like to live and study there, see the facilities and speak to current students and lectures.

I hope this helps and feel free to ask questions
