Former or Current LSE Finance / PPE Students

Hey all,

I’m wondering what is it like to study finance or PPE at LSE. I’ve always wanted to study there but I’d thought I’d ask and see what is it like from students who have or are currently studying there. I’d also like to know what grades / extracurriculars did you do and what could you have felt like you could have done better.

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

I do PPE - the course is good and the career options are also good. I did Maths, Religious Studies, Econ and Further Maths at A Level (Predicted A*A*A*A*) and 10 9s at GCSE.

There is a very large difference between finance and PPE. I recommend a lot more research if you are even deciding between the two. You can use the LSE course pages as a reference for potential reading and also look at the modules in each course.
