2nd year accomodation

Hey everyone,

Im worried about 2nd year accomodation and not being able to afford anything, im looking at other private student accom places and most of them are either like a 2 hour commute by public transport to kingston hill, or its like £300+ a week, am I looking into this too early or is this just how it is??

Hi,

Sorry to hear you are having some trouble finding somewhere! I think it is definitely a good time to start looking and there should be more options available the earlier you start.

It is usually cheaper to flat and house share with other students, sometimes students are looking for people to fill rooms on places like Facebook or www.spareroom.com.

However I understand if you want your own space. I have previously put together this post 2nd and 3rd Year Accommodation at Kingston - The Student Room which has lots of advice for finding 2nd year accommodation and lots of websites for private accommodation.

There is also the accommodation team at Kingston that you could always get in touch with.
Their email is [email protected]

I hope this helps, feel free to ask and questions

Hello,

As per the above, I also recommend you look into Vibe student Living if you want a place for less than £300pw, it is around £240pw and is very spacious.

All the best
