Acceptance Periods drama schools

Hi, I’m looking for some help please. My daughter has some drama school auditions (London, Laine, artsed, urdang, PPA, GSA) booked. These are booked over a 6 week period. I’m wondering, if she gets any offers for the degree course how long we have to reply. As we will still have other auditions pending, is there a set time to accept and are deposits taken? Just no clue how it all works! Thank you

Hiya, so last year we found that most rejections came pretty quickly, offers also came quickly but some were waiting list which means you are in limbo. Some offers are tied to a time period for acceptance and a deposit to hold the offer, some are not. If you have an offer like that you can def phone and ask for an extension if you are waiting on further results and from what I gleaned last year, most places will give you an extension. Some people do end up paying a few deposits to hold offers whilst waiting. My daughter ended up accepting an offer which came with a deposit ( which we paid ) whilst still on a waiting list elsewhere - which we didn’t hear back from until the summer. She had another offer which didn’t come with any deposit or time frame and was held on UCAS until she declined it at the end of the process. Hope that helps, it’s a bit of a juggle but works out in the end!

Hi there!

My name is Jenna, and I am a second-year student at Urdang. I can't speak on behalf of other drama schools, however I know at Urdang they are very lenient with how long you need to decide. There is no deposit, and if you accept on their system, you can change your mind later. Your real final decision doesn't happen until early 2026 when all of your UCAS offers are in.

I hope I was able to help, and please let me know if you have anymore questions about Urdang! 😊

Best,
Jenna
