uni - placement year
im interested in both bath and york for biology bsc, but i want to do a placement/year in industry. for bath i was able to apply to the course including placement, but for york i have to apply to regular course and then apply to transfer in my second year. Does anyone know how the placements are at York, if there's good support with it, etc.

In terms of support, there's plenty available at York. There's a dedicated Biology Placements Coordinator who will guide you through the process of finding and applying for a placement and the Careers and Placement team can help you write your CV and prepare for interviews. Once you're there, you'll have virtual drop-ins with your academic supervisor and placement coordinator.
The best place to find out more is the Biology Year in Industry page and I highly recommend reading Orla's blog as it provides some really great insights too.
