Hi! For the Leicester SJT, it’s typically an online written test. You’ll be presented with different scenarios and asked to choose the best course of action from multiple choice options. It’s usually completed in silence while someone monitors you through the online meeting, but they won’t interact with you during the test.
It’s not a verbal test, so you won’t be speaking your answers. You’ll just select your responses based on how you would handle each situation. If you’re unsure about any specific details, it might be helpful to check the email again or reach out to the admissions team for confirmation.

For preparation, use medical-school-style SJT practice papers (including the Leicester practice paper on Studocu), UCAT SJT question banks such as Medify, MedEntry or The Medic Portal, and review GMC Good Medical Practice to understand expected behaviours. Doing one or two timed practice sessions and focusing on the reasoning behind correct responses is usually enough for most applicants to reach Band 1–2 comfortably. Good luck!

hello, i dont think i can get too specific with the questions but ill tell you ask much as i can. they only have a timer for the sake of there being a time limit, but you have more then plenty time to answer if thats what you are worried about. i cant actually remember how many questions there were, but i finished relatively quickly. it really is just to test your judgement in different scenarios, dont overthink it!
