LSE History

Hi,
I am interested in stduying History and Pol + or History and IR at LSE.
I got 9999999988 at GCSE and A*A*A at a level in RS, Spanish and the A in History. Is there any point in applying as i didnt get the A* in history?
Any advice would be very much appreciated

Hey! You should still apply LSE looks at your overall A-level profile, predicted grades, and personal statement. An A in History instead of an A* won’t automatically rule you out, especially if your other subjects are strong and your supercurriculars show your interest in History and Politics/IR. Make sure your personal statement clearly demonstrates your passion and knowledge that can make a big difference.

Hi, your stats look really strong. Is an A* what LSE put as a requirement? I would say as you have achieved an A in history that should be the ideal grade to apply with as your desired course includes history.
