i am tempted to apply to lse for two degrees they are very similar however (geog BA and gog and economic history) should i do this or will it lower my chances for LSE

You will automatically be rejected from the one they feel you have a weaker application for, just apply to one imo. Won't lower your chances but won't increase them at all either and uses an extra slot that you could use for another uni
