can i still do a level 3 apprenticeship as an 18 year old

a flight steward apprenticeship requires a level 3 apprenticeship first? am i too old to apply for a level 3 apprenticeship now? im worried id be behind if i applied to a level 3 apprenticeship instead of a level 6

You should be able to apply for a level 3 apprenticeship, they generally aren't age restricted. In terms of being "behind", you should stop comparing yourself to others because you still have most of your life ahead of you. Two or three years isn't really much in the grand scheme of things.
