Is it realistic to study abroad as an American?

I'm in my third year of high school starting to look at colleges to decide what I want to do after high school and came across many schools specifically in Europe like Bocconi, LSE, HEC Paris , and many more. I have talked to my dad about this and he talks a lot of the financials (which is important) but it seems to me like college in the US would turn out to be much more than Europe even with considering standard of living. I plan on studying Economics and Finance no matter where I go and I see myself living in Europe even after college. So would it be realistic for me to go straight to a Uni in Europe after high school as opposed to going to an American university and taking a semester abroad?

Yes, it's definitely realistic to study abroad in Europe as an American, especially for Economics and Finance. Many top European universities offer world-class programs at more affordable tuition rates compared to US schools. If you’re planning to stay in Europe long-term, starting your degree there makes sense and will help you integrate better into the job market. Just keep in mind visa requirements and living costs vary by country, so plan ahead!
