Requirements confusion for physiotherapy

Now i am confused between applying for physiotherapy or foundation physiotherapy. In SHEFFIELD HALLAM UNIVERISTY

I have got B A level bio
C a level math
Chem predicted (i am not sure what will it be honestly)

Ielts 6.5
( if foundation i can get the English course bec. They require 7 in foundation so ielts is not my problem here )

Ol are 6 with 2 A* in chem and bio

And both courses will open in different times so don’t tell me apply for both in case

I want to know which one will accept me 100%

What are the entry requirements stated for each of these courses? What exactly is stopping you from applying for both?

Id when i seatched about applying for both some resources said i cannot do that in some universities and soem others said that if you could do that it might weakens your application so i am scared of this point
Also the normal requirments are;
For physiotherapy foundation ~> DDE
And for physiotherapy ~> ABB

but the min grade that was accepted (written in UCAS) in previous years was BBC (but you know idk that person that got accepted with this lowest grades, what was his life like so that they accepted him/her like he might was an achiever in something else so they accepted him with a lower grades) so i am so confused about which to apply for !!!!

Also not applying for both because yk i am scared from trying to apply for both if i could then i get rejected from both just bec i did apply for both not only specific one
Or like make them feel i don't know my target

Also as i mentioned they will open in different times so direct entry will close application on 14 ja and foundation will open in August (the uni it self told me that)

I dont think theres any issue with applying for both unless as you say the application times differ- you can check this on ucas 🙂

So you think i should apply for both ? Like my marks are not specific for one ?

You are likely to get higher than the asking grades for the foundation year course, you might be considered for the other course (if you get an A or A* predicted in chem especially) so it is probably worth applying for both unless you have somewhere else in mind you’d like to apply to

Why Sheffield Hallam Uni

The Uni is crap. They don't support students and you will never get value for your money. You will be frustrated. Don't say you were not warned!

SHU is a good uni for allied health courses so don't take the comment above to heart. Email SHU and ask if you apply just to the degree course but don't receive an offer due to your grades, will they automatically consider you for the foundation year in August. Physio is a competitive course so make sure that you prepare well for interview. Learn the NHS values and six Cs and relate your answers about work/volunteering experience to them.
