Bad ESAT results

Hello! I didn't realize my ESAT results were out and only just went on the website to check it. I was really surprised how bad I did. I got 3.6 in biology, 2.5 in Maths 1 and 3.5 in chemistry. I did find Maths 1 a bit tricky but science was really easy, so I am really disappointed. My predicted grades are A*A*A.

However, I saw people on other threads saying there was possibly a mix-up between candidates' results? coz apparently a lot of people are in a similar situation where they weren't expecting such poor results. I'm confused about what's happening. Can anyone explain please😭?

Also, is there still a chance of getting an interview from Cambridge? im applying to Biological Natural Science at Emmanuel. I'm kinda hopeless ngl but I've heard people getting interviews with low ESAT grades too..

there was a data breach w personal details but results weren't mixed up unfortunately.

Yes, a surprising amount of copium around with TMUA/ESAT scores. It's a hard admissions test curved using scores from Cambridge/Imperial applicants, which are all obviously very smart people. Mishandling of personal information from UAT-UK led people to believe their scores must have also been incorrect, but this is just simply not the case.

Your chances are very low for an interview, I must also unfortunately say. Best of luck, however.
