I don’t believe shortlisting decisions necessarily mean interview emails being sent. If you look at the other courses on the spreadsheet from Magdalen you will notice a time gap between shortlisting decisions and interview emails. I think interview decisions will go out on Monday tbh

Aren’t shortlisting and interview the same thing- I thought the interview stuff was just finding out when it is gonna be

It appears that they are different.. they take a decision who to call for interviews first and as a part 2 in the process they send out the email.. this can be on the same day but based on what I hade seen they send the emails later

Magdalen PPE interviews are on 8th, 9th and first half of 10th Dec. They also say they will let us know a minimum of 7 days prior to interview dates. So assuming no interview emails are sent over the weekend then one can reasonably expect the first lot of emails to be sent tomorrow.. I’m just working backwards here and guessing!

Sorry to hear that. Got rejected at this stage last year but after my results in August I decided to take a year out and try again. It was the tsa I didn't do well in last year. But just got interview today. Hope you feel confident to take up up other offers. Just applying and taking tsa is gutsy!

Hi, I want to study PPE at Oxford and gave in the application for the 2026 entry. I never gave the TSA due to illness but gave in special consideration and my GP letter correspondingly. I’m currently doing the access in HE and am predicted distinctions across the board. I’ve received an email of rejection from Oxford this morning…does anyone think there is any point in re applying ?

Thank you for your words of encouragement. Yeah I reckon it’s the TSA that’s done me but hey onwards and upwards. Can’t really afford to take a year of but whatever happens there is a reason and it may be it’s not for me
