UCLan admissions for Vet Med

@UniLancashire Hi! Would it be possible for the admissions team to check the info I emailed? thank you!!

Hi!! I applied for Veterinary Medicine at UCLan and emailed the admissions team on 30/10 with some information that could affect how they assess my application (whether I get an interview). I received the automatic confirmation email, but I still haven’t had any proper reply.
I’ve heard that some applicants have already received interview invitations, so I’m worried that if they haven’t looked at the information I emailed, it might affect how they consider my application.
Has anyone else heard back from UCLan, and what should I do? Should I wait, or email them again?

My daughter applied September 8th. Some people checked and said all her information had been received. Then last Monday (11/17) she received an email that admissions had received her application (even though we already knew this as someone had checked on it over a month ago). I took it as a good sign that maybe things were moving but nope, here we sit a week later and still waiting. We are from America and just waiting (im)patiently. 🙂

I am not sure there is anything that can be done. Someone checked on it the beginning of October and was told that they would process the applications in the order they were received after they were done processing the January 2026 applications. When there was an email last week I thought maybe there was finally some movement but that was almost 2 weeks ago now. Just continuing to wait.

I’ve heard people have had interview offers already, but I only got emailed the supplementary questionnaire last week. Is this normal?

No, I still haven’t heard anything but I feel like I haven’t been rejected if they’ve only just recently sent the questionnaire

I applied to Liverpool, Nottingham and harper&Keele. Got interview for Liverpool and Harper & Keele and got rejected from Nottingham. I’m really hoping I hear from Lancashire soon lol.

Was the questionnaire just the one asking for contextual details ? Waiting to hear too…

Thank you for your message and patience. Yes, you are correct, the short forms are relating to contextual data. These allow us to pick up any criteria which can be considered alongside the contextual data from UCAS. It isn't an additional step in shortlisting.

I also haven’t heard anything apart from to say thanks for your application. The portal isn’t showing my application either, so I’m really unsure. No idea when I’m going to hear, it seems like a long time but probably isn’t really. I haven’t heard anything though if that’s any help to feel like you’re not the only one!
