year 11: imma lock in not crashout!!

hey i'm Hollie!

im currently in year 11 and have just finished my first round of mocks and on here i'm going to document all my tips and tricks on how year 11 is going, and just for context, i started this blog on 20/11/25!!

first of all i'm going to give you an insight to my life, i study the necessary, maths English lit and language, all three sciences (chemistry, biology and physics ) and at my school we have to take re as it is a catholic school. but for my options i got to pick 3 subjects, 2 of which i really like, them being health&social care and history, and the other (which i do not like and seriously regret picking) is trave;&tourism. its not my sort of thing. but in my defense the other options were not what i like. they weren't the things i was interested in but my school doesn't do drama or french sooo. and for language, i could've picked Spanish but it was way to difficult for me, especially as someone who had done french from year 2 to year 8 only to move school and begin Spanish. i just couldn't pick it up.

anyway, that was a big rant omg! but i get my mocks results either this week or next week and i'm so scared to see if i cooked or got cooked but either way i tried and that means that i've just got to try harder and revise more( seriously lock in Hollie!!)

as for college applications i am waiting til i get my mock results back as i did so awful in my year 10 summer mocks

also this is the first ever blog type thing i've done soo i hope i got this right.

see you next time for more updates!!

Hiya Hollie! (:

best of luck with your mocks!! - as you were mentioning, youve tried your best and thats all you can really do 😊 - sounds like youve got a nice mix of subjects, also had a couple random subjects i took in school, great for getting an idea of what you do/dont like as much lol! - what are you thinking of doing at college?
