Radiography interview

Hi I'm a year 13 student applying to university next year (2026 entry). I am applying to diagnostic radiography and have been offered an interview at the university of Huddersfield in December. Has anyone had a radiography interview or a health care interview in general and has any advise on what to say and questions they asked please let me know. Radiography is so competitive I really wanna make it but I feel so nervous about it and so unprepared.

Thanks for asking, Yesterday I got a email saying I was unsuccessful which is annoying because its so hard and stressful preparing for an interview and in my case getting in with a BTEC I feel like is also another reason I didn't get in

So I answered all the questions really well but they rejected me just cause I couldn't Identify all the 6 radiography machines

hi ive got an interview for radiography at huddersfield soon what would you recommend me focusing on more

I would the biggest thing is Make sure you have a good understanding of the role of a radiographer compared to other healthcare careers. Also whenever you talk about yourself always link back to the NHS values and the 6cs and try and give an example of when you have done something that shows this. I would tell you what came up and the detail but like you saw before the answers can't be shared. did they ask anything about radiation and any work experience because i didn’t do any at a radiography place i did it in a pharmacy
