So my undergrad course allows me to study a year abroad but it’s quite limited. At first I thought America or Canada but since I’m funding the whole thing myself I won’t survive out there financially. So my next option was Japan at Kyoto University. I just wanted to ask what other people’s experience is like? What to look out for? What you wish you knew? What you loved about it? Is it ultimately worth it? The good, the bad and the ugly.
I’ve never been to Japan and I don’t know a huge amount of things or the language which scares me but I get a weird feeling I’ll love it there. I just don’t know if I’m making the right decision.
