Has anyone heard back from Central Saint Martins?
I submitted my ucas and have only recieved an acknowledgement emails so far. LCF have replied and asked for a portfolio, but nothing so far from CSM
I am aware that they’re a more competitive uni, but I don’t think my courses are some of the most popular ones- culture criticism and curation, and fashion histories and theories.

Hi Daisy,
It’s completely normal for different UAL colleges to get back to you at different times, so try not to worry too much. The wait can definitely feel long, especially when you see one college (like LCF) moving forward with your portfolio while another hasn’t responded yet. But this usually just means that CSM is still reviewing applications on their end.
Each course and college works to its own timeline, and the amount of time it takes to reach a decision can vary depending on things like the volume of applications, the level of competition and whether the course requires additional materials. Even if your courses aren’t among the most competitive, the overall processing time at CSM can still be longer.
The university will update your UAL portal as soon as a decision is made, so the best thing to do is keep an eye on it. In the meantime, it’s a good opportunity to start preparing for the next steps, whether that’s gathering documents or planning your move.
