BCU 21 yr old first year student on a break of studies in need of accom until June

Hi,

I am a BCU Nursing student currently on a break of studies (since June of this year) and am not due to resume my course until next June. As I did not natively live in Birmingham I had to move back home and out of student accommodation, and back into my parents house which is where I currently am now.

Until now, I had been preparing to return to university next January, however this is no longer the case as I had a meeting last week where the decision was made to bring me back in June as it didnt make sense to bring me back earlier in the year given where i was academically speaking.

However, this is less than ideal for me as unfortunately my current living conditions are very cramped, as I am without my bedroom/ant space of my own given the limited rooms available in our small house.

Therefore, I was wondering if it would still be possible for me to move into student accommodation or student housing/flatshare with students before then ( best case scenario in January) even despite the fact I would not be an actively studying student? It would also have to be in the Birmingham area.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Hey, I have a brand new, luxury studio available in B4. Depending on when you move in, rent will be between £850 and £950 per month, for 8 months. You will still be eligible as you’re still a student. Let me know if you’re interested

Hello,

It’s possible if you move into a student housing although for private accommodation (it might be possible since you will be continuing your course in June) but you need to email/call the accommodations you have in mind early on, as they might not have availability or might have restrictions if you aren’t a current student.

All the best
