Edge Hill University Midwifery Interview

Hi, I had my Interview with Edge Hill yesterday to study on the Midwifery course 2026. I received what I think may be an automated email today saying they can’t make a decision on my application yet. The Woman who was interviewing me said I would receive information within ten days. Is anybody else the same ?

Hi, The interviewer said you’ll hear within 10 days, and that’s still true.
The email just means: “We’re still checking. We’ll let you know soon" within 10 days.

Congratulations on receiving an interview for Midwifery!

The email was likely just an automated reminder that they are still working on it but you should hear within the next ten days! Hopefully you get a response back soon but if it takes over the suggested ten days you can get in touch with the admissions team and they should be able to provide some support.

Firstly, it is great to hear that you are looking to study Midwifery with us next year.

Everyone who has applied to us before the UCAS application deadline is guaranteed to be given equal consideration. Therefore we have to wait until all applications have been considered before we can make a decision on your application. Interviews continue to take place, therefore it's possible that you might have to wait a while for a decision. We are hoping to process all decisions by the end of April at the latest, but you may hear from us sooner.

Apologies if this was miscommunicated during your interview. We appreciate it can be a nerve-wracking time waiting for an outcome but we wish you all the best!
