Am I cooked

Applying for maths and Cs at imperial and have barely done enough Tmua prep for Jan sitting. Don’t really know what to do. Did mat in oct but I messed it up bad. Am I cooked

You’re definitely not cooked, so don’t panic. A lot of people mess up MAT (it’s brutal this year), and plenty still get places through other parts of their application.
For Imperial Maths/CS, the good news is:

They accept TMUA January

They don’t rely only on MAT

Strong grades + personal statement + teacher reference still matter

If you’ve done very little TMUA prep, the best move now is to focus hard for the January sitting. TMUA is way more learnable than MAT the logic patterns and question types repeat, and people genuinely improve fast with targeted practice.
You’ve got time to turn it around. One bad MAT score doesn’t end your cycle. Just put all your energy into the January TMUA and you’ll still be in the running.
