“TMUA Scores Seem Lower This Year?”

Did anyone else notice that TMUA scores feel way lower this year compared to previous sessions? Even people with strong GCSEs and A* predictions ended up getting 3–5.
Curious whether this was due to the paper being harder or just stronger competition (especially from outside the UK).
What’s everyone’s take?

Yes, but it's difficult to say why this happened. Most students had the same issue.

Are you thinking of joining any TMUA tutoring service right now? Just curious how you’re planning your prep. I’m personally thinking of going for the October 2027 sitting since I got a 4.5 in my TMUA this year, which wasn’t what I expected.

I think Oxbridge mind had some sort of TMUA prep course. This years results were disappointing but it's your choice if you want to have another try at it
