You don’t necessarily need to understand everything in your readings, but just enough to answer the research questions. Pick one or two key readings and only focus on them for now. It’s fine to use a smaller number of references too, as long as they’re relevant and credible.

Break the essay into smaller steps/ tasks.

Use your plan as a mini script. If your tutor said your plan is fine, trust that. Try turn each bullet point into 3-4 sentences.

You don’t need a perfect essay, you need a submitted one. You’re working, you’re stressed, and you were sick, it’s okay to have a rougher piece of work.
5.
Brain dump for 25 minutes. Write anything that comes to mind. Write it rough, messy, your thoughts and ideas in that moment. Sentences can be “cleaned” later. This will help you when writing the “main body” of the essay.
