Occupational therapy - Southampton interview
Hii!! I got an interview invitation from uni of Southampton. I know they have a guide for what will be assessed in the interview section but I was just wondering will there only be group discussion about an object and about the role of OT or extra questions /1-1 interview section will also be assessed? Thank you so much!!!

Hi! First of all, congratulations on getting the interview invitation. That’s already a big achievement, so well done! 🎉
Try not to stress too much. I know Southampton provides a guide about what’s assessed in the interview, but the most important thing is that they just want to meet you in person and get to know who you are. It’s a chance for you to express your passion and knowledge, rather than something to be worried about.
I’m not sure exactly what questions will come up, but it’s not just about a group discussion. They mainly want to see how you communicate and understand the role of OT.
Just be yourself, stay calm. Be familiar with your person statement and show your genuine interest in the course and the profession. You’ve got this! good luck🌟
