Applying to southampton but my course says it’s not taking anymore applications

Hi, I’ve been to the open day to look at Environmental science: biodiversity and conservation a few weeks back at southampton. The course is still available on the uni website but I cannot apply for it on UCAS as it says “This course is not accepting applications at this time. Please contact the provider to find out more.
This course is subject to validation. You can still apply for this course while it is being approved.”
Some of the other environmental science courses are still available to apply for but are being reviewed, does this mean my specific biodiversity course is cancelled and the other ones might be too?
I can also apply for the general environmental science course however this isn’t an actual course as it has 5 ‘sub courses’ that you actually pick from as there is even no module overview for the environmental science course itself. Is there any explanation for this?
I think you’d need to speak to the uni themselves on Monday to clarify. The message is a bit contradictory.

Hello @ellebelle08,

That’s great to hear you are trying to apply to the University of Southampton, and I am so sorry that you are experiencing difficulties!

Unfortunately, I myself don’t know why this message is being displayed, but I would recommend getting in contact with the admissions team and asking. Their general enquiries email is [email protected]

The specific environmental sciences admissions email for undergraduate is [email protected] and the phone number is +44 (0)23 8059 4732.

I hope this helped, good luck with your application and let me know if you need any more help!
