Thabks for this! Do you think it's worth reapplying to dentistry? I'm actually in weird position in that I have offer from qub for dentistry next year but family circumstances and travelling will make it extremely difficult to study thrrr. I'm thinking of trying again for schools closer to home, but is that stupid?

Hey! I think you’re very fortunate to have been given an offer as all dental schools are extremely hard to get into, however you do have to take into account that it is a 5 year course and it is very long. If you feel like you won’t be able to cope with living out with family commitments and distance then you’ll quickly realise the university isn’t for you.. unless you REALLY want dentistry and love it as a passion and don’t want to take the risk of applying next year and getting no offers. Personally if it was me and I wasn’t confident enough to apply again next year due to the nature of the competitiveness then I would just firm the 5 years at QUB, this doesn’t take into account the factors you’re experiencing though. You can reapply next year but know there is no guarantee you’ll be getting an offer. Hope this helps :smile:

Hi what was your group task for sheffield like? And how should i prepare?
Also, do you have any tips on answering why this uni questions? Like how to stand out?
