Law Uni recommendations

My predicteds are- A* A* B
AS Results from Year 12 are A B E ( I had quite mitigating circumstances regarding health and housing- E was in Maths)
Personal statement was quite strong- I was involved in some competitions and a Slaughter and May residential thing and work experience at a firm and I also wrote articles
I’ve already applied to Bristol, Oxford Foundation Year, Warwick and Exeter
I’ve received my Exeter offer of ABB (forgot to mention I am also contextual due to postcode and FSM)
I’m not so sure about my last option I was thinking either York or Southampton? I also wanted to ask the likelihood I’ll get offers from Warwick Bristol and Oxford FY. For Bristol and Warwick bc I’m contextual my offer is AAB whilst for Oxford FY it’s BBB.
I also wanted to ask how long it would take offers? Exeter I heard back fairly quickly but I’m not sure about Warwick or Bristol. For Oxford FY I won’t hear back until March for interviews.

Thanks !!!

Congratulations to your Exeter offer.

UCAS won't give you any deadline to choose your firm and insurance until all your choices had replied. So no rush. You have have time to wait for results from Oxford.

If you get an Oxford offer, are you willing to spend an extra year? If so, firm Oxford.

Your Exeter offer puts you in a very good position. If you get an offer from a more competitive uni (like Bristol and Warwick), Exeter could be your insurance. Even if you were rejected by all of these unis, Exeter itself is a very good uni. So no harm consider a super competitive uni like KCL, LSE and UCL as your last choice.

A number of AAB unis went to Clearing in last few years. So you may not need considering them at present. Good luck.

I understand. With Exeter's offer in hand you may be a bit more aggressive - even if you were rejected by all other 4, Exeter is a very good uni to go to. Good luck.

I have mitigating circumstances regarding health and housing issues (where at the time I was almost homeless), would that neutralize the E at AS?

If you are mainly worried about Warwick, your profile actually looks quite promising. Warwick Law does take contextual factors into account, and the issues you mentioned with health and housing are usually understood by admissions. Your predicted AAB is strong for Law, and your personal statement seems to have a lot of relevant experience, which helps.

It is not possible to say for certain whether you will get an offer, but based on what you listed, you do seem to have a realistic chance. Warwick’s response times vary a lot. Sometimes they reply within a few weeks, but many applicants hear back later in January or even February, so not having an update yet is very normal.

Since you already received an offer from Exeter, it shows that your application is competitive overall. Warwick might just need more time to process, so waiting a bit longer is completely reasonable.

This is actually so incredibly reassuring so thank you for this message! All of my other friends (although they are applying for a different/ similar courses) have gotten offers from Warwick and other very good universities and it mildly stresses me out. Probably just shows how impatient I am 😭. Again thank you for your message this was incredibly reassuring! Do you have an idea of what my fifth option should be?
