suspending studies / transferring university

hi,

I am currently studying a masters but due to poor health I am thinking of either withdrawing or interrupting my studies.

if I were to suspend my masters until next year, but then decide on doing a masters at a different uni, is it possible to transfer and how will SFE funding be affected?

I am a bit confused and stressed about what to do. If I withdraw then I may not be able to get funding in the future, even though I would be leaving on health grounds. hence why I have thought of interrupting, but I won't be in the same city next year to the city I am currently doing the masters, and that's why I have questioned whether a transfer would be possible?!

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there. How many years is your current course and how many years will the new course be if you decide to transfer? How many payments have you received so far? Did you start your course in September 2025, and Would you be looking to resume in September 2026? Thanks, Leah.
