Revision tips for a year 12
I do bio, chem and English lit. Anyone who is doing/ has done these subjects what should I be doing to revise? I have mocks in Jan and I haven’t really been going over content much because I’ve been remembering it fine, especially English lit because there is barely anything we’ve done other than going through our play an annotating, so just quotes.

i do english lit and i would suggest first memorising any context and criticisms needed for the questions. you should also do as many essay plans as you can ensuring that they’re timed and considering all of the necessary aos
if you struggle with timing then you can do some timed essays but the main thing i would say is important is essay plans to make sure you have controlled or evaluative points
if you want to save time in the exam memorise some quotes so you don’t need to rely on the books which will only waste time. good luck

Hey @Emilia Brown,
I studied A-Level Chemistry and English Literature. For English Literature, I would recommend relevant looking up past papers on your exam board's website and trying to complete timed essay responses. Although you might not have covered the full play yet, there should still be some essay questions which you can approach with your current knowledge and it can function as a good active recall activity in terms of quotes/context.
For Chemistry, keep doing what you're doing. If you're not finding any of the content particularly difficult, try some past paper questions and see how you get along. 🙃
