gcse revision timetable

my mocks are in january and all my predicted grades are 8’s and 9’s (high expectations!)

I go to a boarding school so I find it hard to revise in my free time but I’d say on average I have 3 hours of free time per weekday and I’m a lot more free on the weekend.

In the Christmas break I’m especially hoping to do most of my revision so I’d like to build two separate schedules to suit my needs!

does anyone have a method to build a revision timetable which worked for them that they could share?

Hi,

I’d personally recommend making a flexible timetable that works with the time you have. You could break your revision into focused blocks, e.g using the Pomodoro method, and rotate subjects so you don’t get bored or burnt out.

For weekdays, focus on your priority topics during your free time, and use weekends for longer sessions or catching up on subjects that need more attention. Over Christmas, you can build a more intensive timetable, but make sure to include short breaks and some time for hobbies or relaxation.

It also helps to plan which topics or past papers you want to cover in each session and track your progress so you can adjust your timetable as you go.

Hope this helps,
