Clearing

Hello everyone!
I am in Year 13 studying Business, Economics and English Language A-level and my predicted aren't the best so right now I am applying to universities with foundation years for Accounting and Finance but ideally I would just like to do a standard undergraduate degree. So I just wanted to know if anyone has gotten into clearing for an Accounting/Accounting and Finance or Accounting and Management course and how the process went.

Hey there,

Clearing is an option to consider, but there are actually a lot of benefits to doing a Foundation Year as well! Some of our students opted to do one even if they did get the grades, just to give them a bit more time at University and an extra year to adjust to the big change from A Level - Degree.

You can't guarantee that the course/uni you are interested in will open for clearing, as they may already have received enough applicants. Especially if you're waiting for results until August, clearing will have been open for over a month by that stage. So it's not advised to be 100% reliant on Clearing!

At Liverpool Hope we offer Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Economics, and any paired combination of these with Foundation Year. Have a look into them if you like!

Best of luck with whatever you end up deciding to do!
