Imperial Physics offer chances

I am applying for physics at imperial, and I just got rejected from Cambridege so I wanna know what are the chances of imperial giving me an offer. Here is my current situation.

Yr 13 International student studying in the UK at the moment
ESAT: 3.3, 3.7, and 6.2 but Physics, Maths1 and Chem repectively
A*A*A* predicted in Further Maths, Chemistry, and Physics.
An achieved A* in Alevel Maths
No olympiad whatsoever.

Logically and Honestly, I dont think there is any chance at all. I prolly just need some console or hope. So please tell me that I am out of the game or give me some aspiration.

Nah, I was being silly and thought chem was easier to take.

uh, you might want to email them to be sure, but i'm sorry to say i think your chances are exactly zero because you need to do maths2 in your ESAT for imperial physics

you could ask them if you can do it again in january? not sure

yeah bro, you might be cooked because of the esat. the modules aren't optional, each course has specific esat modules that they require applicants to take. im applying to physics at imperial myself - the modules you need are maths1 maths2 and physics and its most likely the same for cambridge. thats probably why you got rejected.

best course of action is to email imperial application services and explain the mix up. hope they either let you retake or maybe they'll just take your M1 and physics averages. good luck!

Guys thanks for the reply, I emailed them and they said 'However, should an applicant take an incorrect module, their application will still be considered.' and 'You application is still being considered. ' Well very likely they are just trying to be polite and not hurting me, but I also just received an on-campus invitation from Manchester for physics. I wanna know Manchester physics is as good as it is on the ranking table, and apparently Manchester physics is quite hard to get in, does this mean I am still a strong applicant if regardless to the ESAT?

Manchester is a great uni, heard lots of positive things. A lot of STEM subjects are hard to get in for manchester, but since you have the grades, you will likely get in

it's great news that they say they're still considering your application, universities don't typically care about politeness so I'd still assume you have a chance of getting in

manchester is great for physics
