What Uni should i apply for

Hi
I'm right now uncertain what universities I should apply for computer science due to receiving a 3 on TMUA
below are the universities I have already applied for

Cambridge - rejected
bath - unknown
Birmingham - offer
Glasgow - offer

my predicteds are A*A*A* and GCSE were 9999988776

right now I'm considering Durham or KCL but i fear Durham might be reject me due to there selective nature and i heard KCL that student satisfaction isn't very good.

Any advice is greatly appreciated or any other university recommendations

What's the Glasgow and Birmingham offer? That will help to decide where to pitch offers at.

At your level, you'll want to have an even spread of grade requirements.

So for Birmingham it on contextual so it’s AAA
But for Glasgow I ca be considered for the three year course which is (A*AA) or the four year course which is (AAB)

If you want to play it safe (and are going for the 3 year Glasgow course), then I would pick another AAA or AAB uni. Less competitive (relative to the other choices you've picked, but objectively so for AAB) and gives you another pretty much guaranteed choice.

If you want to be slightly riskier, you could look at another A*AA course, but I wouldn't go above that.

Hi toxic)92,

Firstly, well done on your applications so far. Don't kick yourself in the foto for not getting into Cambridge. Most students avoid applying as they convince themselves earlier on that they'll be rejected. The fact you even applied is already a huge step.

Personally, I would apply to the universities you feel confident with. If you're not too sure about KCL, it would probably be best to set that one aside & apply to universities that you would l like to go to.

The type of university you want to go to depends mainly on what you like e.g. large campus, small campus, country side or city based.

Hope this helps!

I would recommend to apply to Durham since I heard they have a great community

One with a placement year and lower grade requirements.
