Are certificates in higher education worth it?

I want to study a certificate in higher education in psychology but I’m not sure if it’s worth it . Has anyone studied a certificate in higher education before and did you think it’s worth it in terms of helping you get a job after?
For professional purposes not really. I did a CertHE but I did it as a qualification to then apply to a degree with.

What CertHE did you study? I’m also thinking of doing a CertHE in computing, IT and psychology instead so I could get experience in IT to potentially become a programmer

South Asian studies (focusing on Sanskrit).

I don't think a CertHE is going to achieve what you want it to. You should probably either aim for a full degree (where the CertHe may be an option to meet entry criteria), or look for apprenticeship schemes in the computing sector.
