Medicine interview help

Hi, I got my first interview from UCLan, between 10-20th of December, I see so many people revise for like months in advance, what key things should I focus on in general of all unis, and does anyone have any UCLan specific advice?

I urge you to use professional service for mock interview such as the medical portal company. They run mock interviews in person. You can use their resources on their website as well to learn more about interviews.

All the information you need for your specific interview will be explained in the guidance notes. Hi there

I'm Jade a third year medic at Lancaster University - I cant offer any specific advice for UCLAN but I can offer some general interview tips.

Know the GMC Good Medical Practice well- be able to talk confidently about any of the key domains and link them to your experience

Read up on current news : BBC News Medicine or BMJ are good sources.

Utilise the STAR framework: situation, task, action, result for any "Tell me a time when..." questions.

If you know any other Medicine applicants at your college it'll be a good idea to practice mock interviews with each other.
