What is the best way to study for A-Level Physics

I find exam questions for Physics hard as I’m not confident on the topics themselves. What techniques do people recommend to help me feel more confident on the content so I can start exam questions?

Hi @milliepoole08

I did chemistry and biology A-Levels but hopefully my advice will still be helpful!

One thing that I did was go through every point of the specification to identify what areas I was confident on, what areas I had some knowledge of, and what areas I had no understanding of. I used this rating to identify what I needed to focus my revision on.

Then in terms of revision techniques, some of my favourite ones were:

Making a big mindmap with all of the subject knowledge for a topic

Watching video lessons

Flashcards for anything I had to memorise

Once you have built your subject knowledge up you can then move back to answering exam questions. Read the questions carefully and highlight any key information before answering. It is really important to go through your answers with the mark scheme to identify what key points you need to include to get maximum marks.

Hope that helps!
