How do I know if someone dislikes me in a social setting?

I’ve been going out drinking socially for a little while now and I’ve been having similar experiences with women, I’m a young woman that’s 20 and very alternative looking so I go to alternative bars and clubs. Almost every time I interact with a woman they seem really nice then a few hours later they seem standoffish, never really starts a conversation with me and afterwards if I see them passing by or if we are in a social setting again they’ll give me this sly look, almost like a side eye whenever I talk or even just sit there quietly. This has happened so much and it’s making it very difficult to make female friends, almost all of my friends are men which I don’t see a problem with but I cannot shake the feeling that something is wrong with me? I’ve thought about being tested for autism for a while because I’ve always felt somewhat alone to myself and I can only really have fulfilling conversations with people who are on the spectrum. I just want to know if there are any non verbal signs that someone dislikes me or has negative emotions towards me? I’d love to know so I don’t overstep any boundaries with new people. Thanks for any help

Same 😭. I'm 19f and I only seem to have male friends. I feel kind of judged and out of place with a lot of women my age. It's like I don't understand any of the social cues they use, and they'll go from nice to patronising to uninterested, and sometimes back to nice. It's so confusing.

I also feel a lot more comfortable talking to people who are autistic/ADHDers. I think I might have ADHD tbh.

It's possible that some of the women are kind of awkward (sitting there quietly) or have a really mean resting face (the side eyes), but the amount of times it's happened suggests that they have a problem with you - don't know why though. But there's nothing wrong with you! You have friends already so I think maybe we just have more of a male communication style? Idrk
