hiii. has anyone applied/received an offer from UCL for Education, Society and Culture (Undergrad ) or Sociology and Politics of Science?

I’m deciding whether to apply to UCL or not.
I’m predicted AAA (English literature, Religious Studies and Politics )
Personal Statement is good + Reference
HOWEVER
My GSCE grades aren’t super super strong… i meet the requirements for both courses (English and maths )

Do I have a good chance at getting in?
I see no reason you couldn't apply successfully. I'm not really aware of UCL being overly GCSE focused.
Hi! I’ve just firmed my offer for the same course.

I don’t see why you couldn’t be successful with the statistics and information you have! :yep:

You meet the grade requirement of ABB

You take A-levels that all meet the preferences of the course - “A Social Science, Classics, English Literature and/or Language (not English Language acquisition) or Business Studies preferred.”

You meet the requirements for GCSEs (English and maths as you’ve noticed as well!)

Again, UCL does not look gravelly on GCSEs.

If it makes you feel more at ease… my A-levels are Art, Biology, and Chemistry, which are the non-preferred courses, but I still ended up getting an offer!
