Further maths or Physics Difficulty

Hi I'm doing my a levels next year and can't decide to go into some with finance or engineer related. I want to know which is more difficult, doing further maths or physics because I really don't want to get burned out and come with a bad grade

whats your other alevel besides maths? most engineering applicants do fm maths phys with maybe chemistry, finance is a bit broad but they arent usually too fussy about which alevels you pick as long as theres maths and itd be great if you have further maths. i would start with 4 subjects fm maths physics and ur other subject and later down the year drop one when u made up ur mind

Maths and physics are necessary for most engineering degrees. FM is desirable for some and useful for all. But without physics (and especially without a second science at all) your options are quite limited outside of courses with a foundation year.

You can go into a wide range of finance careers with any degree potentially (depending on the role - actuarial roles you need a very quantitative degree, but for something like investment banking, management consulting, or accountancy your degree subject doesn't matter).
