i dont have any roommates for my third year shared house

Hi I'm Issy, I haven't exactly been great at making friends and getting to know people at uni because ive been overwhelmed since that first day of uni, and my current housemates are going to be doing a year abroad so I basically dont know who im going to live with in third year, and i feel like i've left it too late to ask other acquaintances whether theyre looking to squeeze me in and I'd feel extremely uncomfortable in a studio apartment and private accoms etc, I'd want to be able to live with people in a nice environment in an actual house. I study fashion marketing, my interests extend to great lengths and they include a whole lot of fashion (ranging from being addicted to vinted and old fashion collections such as dior and galliano), painting, making my own things, goth and metal music and much much more - im also huge goth, an aspiring vocalist, fashion business owner and im also great at decorating rooms

Hello,

Look up rooms in shared houses on Spare room, there’s a lot of shared house rooms being advertised there or you can look at Rightmove and your university’s facebook group (a lot of people advertise their rooms there last minute).

All the best

Hello!

I'd say it's still worth asking some acquaintances. You never know, by asking you may find others in a similar situation who are also worrying about living arrangements!

It may also be worth looking at a facebook group specific to your uni. Often on these groups you'll find posts from people looking for roommates/places to stay, so it might be a good way of finding others. Or you could perhaps make a post on their yourself?

I totally get how daunting it can be to ask people about their living arrangements - especially people who you'd only consider acquaintences.

Wishing you all the best of luck!
